An existing dwelling, frequently adapted over its lifetime, has resulted in a broad incoherence across the site.  A thicket to the south, combined with small windows limits natural daylight.

Proposals for a replacement dwelling take inspiration from the natural topography, celebrating the trees and their immediacy.

Residents can live harmoniously with the flora and fauna, with colours and textures of the changing seasons diffusing into the new home.
