A Grade II listed farmhouse, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, seeks an extension that can provide the resident family with an 'indoor/outdoor' living, dining and workspace.
The proposal identifies and translates key geometries found in the character of historical roof pitches to the expression of a new glazed extension.
A minimal palette of materials has been selected, to pick up on the natural tones of the existing Grade II listed building, and to respect and enhance its historical significance.
